Not just the heart-racing kind--though I'll never turn down a good plot twist. I'm drawn to stories that seamlessly balance action and aftermath. The ones with a touch of magic and mystery, where transformation is the real treasure.
I never get tired of tales where all seems lost...when the protagonist's world is crumbling all around them and there's no way through--until, somehow, they find it. Those are the moments that keep me reading long into the night, wrapped up in the hope that change is always possible.
